In 2002, an assortment of Christian musicians met to arrange and lead music for a 10-week inter-denominational Alpha course. At the time, most of us didn’t know each other - we just loved music and came to serve. What we didn’t know was that this was a divine appointment, ordained both for our own growth and encouragement, as well as helping draw our community together.

Ten week turned into a year, and the ”Alpha Band” turned into “Standing Stones”, a cross-denominational worship band. Each of us has been cut out of the “quarry of life” and set upright by our Lord. He gave us a story to tell of His work in our lives and the hope He has carved into our hearts.
